dbt Fusion (beta) is a next-generation execution engine for dbt, with components published incrementally. It is written in Rust for speed and correctness, provides native SQL understanding across multiple warehouse SQL dialects, and includes features like SQL comprehension, a language server, and ADBC-based warehouse connection drivers. It is useful if you want to adopt or evaluate the new dbt engine using the CLI, VS Code extension, or a precompiled binary, including options for local, Docker, or cloud installation.
